Manual paper record

Printable Schulte Table Attempt Log

Use this nine-page printable when a handwritten record is more practical than browser storage. The setup card defines a comparison group, the attempt pages capture individual rounds, and the weekly review keeps observations tied to task conditions rather than ability labels.

Printable manual attempt log

Use this paper record when you want a handwritten log or need to record offline attempts. It does not read, write, or synchronize the browser Progress Tracker.

  • Record grid, mode, device, input method, time, and mistakes
  • Keep like-for-like comparison conditions together
  • Nine static PDF pages; nothing is recorded automatically

How to use this resource

What each row records

A useful time needs its task context. Each attempt row provides space for the date, grid size, mode, device, input method, completion time, mistakes, and notes about conditions or interruptions.

  • Keep paper and browser attempts clearly labeled
  • Record whether the order was ascending, descending, letters, or another mode
  • Mark an interrupted attempt instead of treating it as a personal best

Build a like-for-like comparison set

Choose one repeatable setup before comparing a sequence of attempts. Grid size, device, input method, zoom, orientation, timer rule, and error handling can all change what the recorded duration means.

Paper log versus Progress Tracker

The Progress Tracker summarizes supported records saved in localStorage by the current browser. This PDF is a static manual record sheet. Writing on it cannot add a browser record, and browser records are not inserted into the PDF automatically.

Keep paper fields private

The blank fields belong to the printed copy. The PDF itself does not transmit or automatically record what you write. Store or dispose of completed sheets according to the privacy needs of the person using them.

Frequently asked questions

Does this PDF sync with the Progress Tracker?

No. It is a manual paper record. The browser tracker and the PDF remain separate unless you choose to enter information yourself.

Should different grid sizes go in one average?

Usually not. Different sizes have different cell counts and task lengths, so keep them in separate comparison groups.

Does the log calculate an ability score?

No. It records task conditions, time, and mistakes without assigning a cognitive, educational, or medical meaning.
