The local YYYY-MM-DD date, size, direction, and challenge version form a seed. A deterministic PRNG drives Fisher–Yates, so matching inputs produce matching layouts without Math.random().

The challenge changes at midnight according to the device calendar. Different time zones can therefore show different dates at the same moment.
Sharing without personal data
Share text and the locally drawn result card include date, grid, time, mistakes, attempt type, and challenge ID only. Nothing is uploaded automatically.
Why there is no global leaderboard
The tool does not verify identity, input conditions, or completion history across cleared storage. A global rank would imply evidence this browser-only tool does not have.

Can I retry today’s grid?
Yes. After the first official completion, every retry is labeled Practice.
Will another device share my streak?
No. Records remain in this browser and disappear if its site data is cleared.
Does deleting data reset proof?
It removes the browser record, and the site cannot prove whether an earlier official attempt existed.
